Why You Should Sleep Early

Is there a best time to sleep? There is a saying that sleeping early and waking up early is good for your health. How true is that? Is it alright to sleep late and wake up late?
You actually have an amazing biological clock ticking inside your body. It is very precise. It helps to regulate your various body functions including your sleeping time.
From 11pm to 3am, most of your blood circulation concentrates in your liver. Your liver gets larger when filled with more blood. This is an important time when your body undergoes detoxification process. Your liver neutralizes and breaks down body toxins accumulated throughout the day.
However if you don't sleep at this time, your liver cannot carry out this detoxification process smoothly
  • If you sleep at 11pm, you have full 4 hours to detoxify your body.
  • If you sleep at 12am, you have 3 hours.
  • If you sleep at 1am, you have 2 hours.
  • And if you sleep at 2am, you only have 1 hour to detoxify.
What if you sleep after 3am? Unfortunately, you won't have any time to actually detoxify your body. If you continue with this sleeping pattern, these toxins will accumulate in your body over time. You know what happens next.
What if you sleep late and wake up late?
Have you tried going to bed very late at night? Did you realize you feel very tired the next day no matter how much you sleep?
Sleeping late and waking up late is indeed very bad for your health. Besides not having enough time to detoxify your body, you will miss out other important body functions too.
From 3am to 5am, most blood circulation concentrates in your lung. What should you do at this moment? Well, you should exercise and breathe in fresh air. Take in good energy into your body, preferably in a garden. At this time, the air is very fresh with lots of beneficial negative ions.
From 5am to 7am, most blood circulation concentrates in your large intestine. What should you do at this moment? You should poop! Pass out all unwanted poop from your large intestine. Prepare your body to absorb more nutrients throughout the day.
From 7am to 9am, most blood circulation concentrates in your stomach. What should you do at this moment? Have your breakfast! This is your most important meal in a day. Make sure you have all the required nutrients from your breakfast. Not having breakfast causes lots of health problems for you in the future.
That's the way to start your day
There you are... the most ideal way to start your day. After fully detoxifying your blood during your sleep, you wake up fresh to inhale beneficial energy. Then you pass out unwanted poop from your large intestine. After that, you take in balanced nutrients to prepare your body for a new day.
No wonder people living in villages or farms is healthier. They sleep early and wake up early. They follow their natural biological clock.
Living in city, we have more difficulty in following this sleeping schedule. We have good lightning, TV and internet to delay our precious sleeping time.
Following your natural timetable
Once I know the importance of our biological clock, I try my best to follow it. If I wake up early, I usually start my day on the computer. But when I see the clock shows 7am, I know it's the best time for breakfast. So I'll try to have my breakfast before 9am for best absorption.
What if you're offered a night shift job? I recommend you to reject it even the salary is higher. For long term, you may need to spend more money for your health problems.
What if you have assignment to do until late at night? Well, why not sleep early and wake up earlier to do it? Just shift your work time from late night to early morning. You get the same time. But your body will appreciate it.
With this, try to follow this timing as close as possible. Make it your daily routine. I'm sure you will feel fresher and more energetic all day long.

Pinkii's Outfit 1 : Cherry in the Dark

Basically, this is what I will do for the next few weeks and maybe even longer. I'll post my outfit each week to see how many possible outfits I can create/match until my closet runs out of clothes for me to do this. It's fun because I get to mix and match, and I get to wear the clothes I never wear! I'm always just wearing the same several clothes, so in order to avoid that, I will do this for fun.

You probably noticed the title of the post already. Random, right? Well, that's the point. I'll somehow make up a title that somewhat relates to what I'm wearing, but at the same time, it's totally random(maybe). It'd be boring without a title, right?

I'll also be digging out my shoes to wear, not just my clothes. I might start out with my shoes, then create my whole outfit with those. Another good side is, I'll get to see all my clothes in one place, all matched up, without having to rummage my closet to know what I have.

Okay, on with the picture.

Warning: Super Amateur Photography ahead. I wish I was the one holding the camera

From Head to Toe:

It's been years since I walked out the house with a bun bun!
It's cool because I have black hair with a brown bun!
Earrings. ah. Finally, wore a different set of earrings besides my cross earrings. Dangle Earrings, Moon on the right, Star on the left.
Cute Red Skull Necklace with a star on its head. Super Lightweight.
Black Top. Half Off shoulders, half tank? From Papaya. Gift from Jacinda. This was pretty daring of me since this reveals my unappealing parts of the body;shoulders, elbows.
Gray Skirt. Black Furry Washed out design polka dots. From ISO.
Black Leggings. From Zara.
Dirty Red Hi-Top shoes from K-2. Makes those clack-clack noises.

I don't dress like this usually. I was sort of uncomfortable with the stares from everyone. x____x What's funny was when my dad came to pick me up. I got in the car. He was like, I didn't even recognize you! Why are you so dressed up? Me: What?! How could you not recognize me!? Him: You look so different!

It was probably the bun :/

My Handmade Soap's Arrival

Glycerin Soap with Goat's Milk & Shea Butter

I ordered this handmade soap on eBay because I can't afford any time to make this myself. The Soap is composed of Glycerin(sucks up water from air, keeping your skin moist) and Goat's Milk(moisturizing). You can choose your own scent, and I chose Lavender because all bugs(like moths, spiders, ants, etc.) hate lavender. It's not the real lavender, but I'm hoping just the smell can repel them. I'm thinking of planting lavender. You can choose an additive to go with the Goat's Milk, so I chose Shea butter since it's great for dry skin. I just noticed she spelled lavender wrong.

What I needed was a soap holder/dish, so I found an available ex-detergent measuring cup. I washed it and decided to make it my soap holder. Did you know that handmade soap is a lot healthier for your skin than those commercial soaps they sell in stores? Most commercial soaps contain tallow, which is

Bored waiting

My boyfriend makes his first debut on my blog~
Waiting for class to start with him.... on thursday.

Anatomy

The skeleton is my buddy yo~It's a he.
My bf took this picture while I was studying for Anatomy class. Hehe, I had the whole room to myself to study >:D Excuse the outfit, totally do not match the shoes. Did you know your collar bone is actually not called a collar bone, it's actually a clavicle! Your ankle bone is actually called the lateral malleolus. On a side note, I seriously need a haircut.

Dark Chocolate Amorè

Say hello to my Dark Chocolate Amorè.
I was with my boyfriend and his acquaintances at Jazz Cat Cafe for dinner the other night to celebrate their successful "add". What people normally eat at Jazzcat Cafe is hotpot! And you know what? I don't like hotpot. I had no idea what Jazz Cat Cafe was until I was there, pots everywhere! I had dinner already(thank goodness!), so I just ordered a dessert, Dark Chocolate Amorè.

I had to literally hammer this thing open, as you can see the shattered pieces. Haha! Initially, I thought it could break with a tiny tap, but I thought wrong. The description indicated this was a gelato, but it was not what I expected. The inside, I think it was a raspberry flavor, sorry if I got this wrong. There was a tangy-ness to it with some icy texture. I'm sure they mixed in some ice. The layer between the icy raspberry and the outer dark chocolate shell was, I believe, the gelato part. This part was really sweet, I really had to stop for a while because it was way too sweet, in my opinion. Oh, and I totally scraped the plate, leaving nothing behind. Nonetheless, it was a nice dessert to end the night.
