Day 30: A picture of you last year and now, how have you changed since then?

Last Year:

Now:

Sorry, I'm late again. I have no excuses. I'm even too lazy to look for pictures so I just got these straight from facebook profile pictures. The one you see now is taken today, so it's really recent.
I have changed a lot obviously.. hair wise, but I don't think anything really changed mentally. I'm still the same as last year. I might have gotten lazier? Great =.=

Farewell 30 day challenge!
I think I'll have a new one up soon^^
These are fun.

Wow. I'm surprised I got so many G-Dragon songs when I have 263 tracks in it.

Monster Mochi

The title scares you doesn't it? I'll talk about that later. Let's rewind to yesterday yesterday, which is Saturday.

There's a lot to talk about, but I'll try to make it as short as possible.
I woke up at 7:00 am in the morning to go with my grandma to go to Arcadia mall for Macy's one day sale. She needed a watch, so I helped her in choosing a watch along with Auntie Pat who came along as well(she bought 4 pairs of shoes O_O). While browsing around for dresses, I met Lindsey, Lani's friend, by chance. I don't know if I should be happy or not for leaving the mall empty handed because I was actually looking for a dress. After a few hours at the mall, Uncle Sam treated us to tepanyaki at a restaurant called Tokyo Wako. I enjoyed the shrimps the best. Yumm. I ate more than I usually eat for lunch.

Then, my grandma had to go to a barber shop for her appointment to do her hair. I just sat on chair for a while, then I went to the sofa(more comfortable) and took a nap for I don't know how long since I couldn't sleep until 4am the previous night(only 3hours of sleep). Then, we went back home and I had to do her a favor and tie ribbons for the present she was going to bring to some party she was going to. I got a paper cut from curling the strings with scissors. No biggie. Then a few hours later, while I was playing Family Feud on fb, Emily came over for some free dinner and we took off for Au to meet up with Van, Angel, Gillian, and their dudes.

At Au, I ordered Honey Aloe, and it tasted alright, not super great. We played cards the whole time, mostly Big 2. Emily did this really annoying sound with her straw by moving it up and down the hole and it was SO ANNOYING that Angel and I kept slapping and pushing her(Emily sat between the two of us, so it would look like she's going back and forth between us). I was laughing most of the time because it was so funny watching Angel bullying Emily. I'm not being mean, I'm sure you would do the same. Honestly, this is the funnest time I had in Au out of probably 4 times that I went. I can skip the part me and Angel were in the restroom together; don't wanna gross you out :P. So Emily brought me home at around 10? or later? I can't recall the exact time. She stayed to watch a Korean movie with me. We picked 200lb Beauty because I thought she haven't seen it before, but we found out later in the movie that she did see it. =.=, it was still enjoyable and I didn't mind watching it the second time. By this time, it was pretty late already, so she decided to just sleepover. Then we watched another movie, called My Wife Got Married. The beginning was really sexual, perfect for Emily. During the movie, we got so hungry(our tummies were literally in pain), that we went for a midnight healthy snack, Golden kiwi and shared a banana. Cured our tummies on the spot. After the movie ended[around 4:30am], we were pretty awake for some time(she kept asking questions about the movie), then I'm sure I fell asleep first. I haven't had anyone sleep over at my house since elementary school.

I woke up at 11:45am the next morning. My grandma was already preparing lunch for us. I told her that Emily slept over, and she was like Oh really??and laughed. We ate the food she made and we went back to my room to watch another Korean movie, called The Worst Guy Ever.

OMG I'M SO TIRED RIGHT NOW..I'LL ADD MORE TO THIS LATER..I'LL BRIEFLY TALK ABOUT THE MOCHI...so we made mochi and tried to do the ice cream one and FAILED, had to go out again to get the read bean paste and it was much better. Our mochis were so huge in the beginning, then I made one that stood out from the rest and it was called the MONSTER MOCHI. IT LOOKED UGLY AND HUMONGUS.......in the end before she left, she ate my monster mochi. WE HAD A HELL OF A TIME MAKING THESE MOCHI FROM SCRATCH TO FINISH. I won't be making mochis for a while. Washing dishes tired me out.

Day 26: Favorite Form Of Exercise

Playing Taiko Drum Master and DDR.

Or playing ping pong, badminton, tennis, or golf(if someone is willing to teach me)

Day 25: Guilty Food Pleasure

Almost anything sweet goes for me, especially ice cream~I can eat buckets of them.
Chocolate too!! Any chocolate suits my taste, whether it's milk, dark, or regular.
Just no nuts please. But if there's nothing else, I'd eat the ones with nuts.
Ohhh~~~let's not forget crepes!!

Day 20: Short term goals for this month and Why

I am so addicted to the Honey Roasted Peanuts my grandma brought from Canada. I seriously have no self control...

Goals:
Buy a new lcd screen and manually replace it myself
(because I need to see the whole damn screen!!And not just 1/3)
Buy books for the coming fall semester
(So I can study it a little before school starts)
Clean my room so it is more bearable
(it's really ugly right now)
Write thank you note
(I've been telling myself to do this for a month)
Make the most out of my last days of freedom
(school starts on 30th...ahh!!)

Day 19: A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you

Coming to America definitely had the biggest impact on me. I have been Americanized to a certain degree. Thankfully, I'm not fully Americanized. Hey, but I'm able to do pretty well in the game, Family Feud...so that says something. I'm still learning English these days =.= I never knew what a coaster was until this year or last year.

Day 18: A Place You’ve Never Visited But Want To

IT'S GOTTA BE JAPAN BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's on my #1 on my MUST-GO LIST!

Day 17: A Hobby Of Yours

You know what? I'll make up for the two days I missed in ONE SINGLE DAY.

LET'S SEE....my hobby. I love TRAVELING. Yes, too bad I can't do this too often because it costs way too much moneyy.

Besides traveling, I like walking around.... like taking a stroll along the beach on a nice day..not too hot or I'll fy.

I also like reading, but I haven't been reading much lately :\

Day 14: Your Day, in Great Detail

Omg!! I'm so sorry I'm late!!! Like two hours late!!

So I will edit this further...

Went to riverside today to sleep over with friends!!
Emily drove me, Jessica, and Tracy... thank you!
Lalala
We just played the Ninja game just now...so tiring!!
I'm using Panda's laptop to post this right now...
We went into the pool and ate at Ten Ren...

Refreshing my memory back to this day...
I woke up at 9:00am to do some last-minute packing for the sleepover. When I had all my stuff ready to move to Emily's trunk, my dad saw the stuff and was like, "Are you moving????". I'm like no....Then Emily picked me up at around 2 something, always late like usual. Then we went to pick up Jessica next...when I called her, you know what shocked me? She was freakin playing family feud!!! I was like WHAT?!?! at this minute and second, you're playing FAMILY FEUD?! Oh em gee. Anyways, it seemed like forever before she finally got out carrying all those bags of stuff. I think we all needed help carrying our bags to Emily's car. Then, the next person to pick up was Tracy. I was like Wow, she actually brought her laptop with her.

We went to Big 5 because I needed goggles for swimming. I got them for around $7... I should have gotten the more expensive ones.. it was so uncomfortable. When I wore it, it felt like my eyes were going to pop out. Anyway, after getting the goggles, we went to Kiki's Bakery to get some food for the next day's breakfast because someone mentioned that Angel isn't cooking anymore, which, by the way, she DID cook dumplings for us. At Kiki's Bakery, the girl working there was speaking Mandarin to them, then I think she heard me speaking Canto on the phone to Emily, because when I went to pay for the bread, she started speaking Canto to me. So we got back into the car, I was I enjoying my CD playing in Emily's car and even sang along. Tracy told us about how she named her dog Wai Goh, which is sort of like Viagra in English..it's just some pill. Somewhere along the way, Tracy fell asleep. At the same time, Jessica started telling us some ghost stories(non-fiction), I found it pretty entertaining, I enjoy listening to these kinds of stories.

We finally got to the apartment. We were welcomed by Van directing Emily to the designated parking space, which was right in front of their window and next to Van's car. We got a hold of all our stuff; honestly, it looked like we were moving there. And we made our way towards their living quarter. We walked through this little passageway, walked up these stairs and a few more steps their unit would be right there in the dark corner.

Edit this later...BYE!

Then, I moved to Sha Tin, New Territory in Hong Kong
Then, it's California, U.S.

So I went with Hitomi to Rowland Heights today to get her nails off and then we went to Puente Hills Mall and yeahh....after it was all over...we went to my house and wrote up the "to bring" list....

Kay Ciao!

Day 12: A Photo of Me Taken Recently

This was taken at Huntington Beach by Hitomi.
Personally, I think the picture would look better horizontal. xP
But that's okay :)

Let me rant about what happened in the past few days...
So, tonight my cousin made dinner (spaghetti) and I did the dishes while he took out the garbage. Today is Monday, I believe.
On Sunday, Kanoni and I had to wake up EARLY(around 9:00) to go and get Yoichi a present. The Asian "cute" stores opened 10, just in time. After around 35 minutes, we finally chose something for him...which is a tissue holder that is a big fishy, and tissue comes out of its mouth, so it's like spewing out water? And we also got him this orange car freshener(the ones you stick on to the AC vent), there were two inside. Then we got him this really cute card with some character holding a flan that flips out. For lunch, we just bought a bunch of packed sushi(one of them was buy 1 get 1 free!) and shared them. We played Wii Taiko Drum Master & Brawl at his house. Then I was sooo tired my eyes could barely open because I slept so late the previous night. Then at around 5pm, people started coming to his house(drinking party), so we left. We are good girls & legal, teehehehe. Then we headed over to her house to get mochi ingredients, then back to my house to do the second part of making the mochi. So, we were making green tea mochi and I will post some pictures soon. The green tea mochi is SOOO DELICIOUS!!! The softness, tenderness, chewyness, squeezyness. The filling is red bean, not ice cream. But it's still GOOD! I'm not a fan of red bean, but I just couldn't stop eating them. Then we had noodles+veggies for dinner, playing Family Feud at the same time. Hahaha. Then she left at 9pm, leaving me all alone in the house again ;(
On Saturday, in the afternoon, Elmo took me, maomao+her sister to go to Santa Anita mall. Elmo had to find a present. I had to find a bathing suit, but no luck. Almost all they had were bikinis, which was not what I was looking for. Me and maomao ate garlic pretzel and it stung our mouths. Then around 9:30, we arrived at Au79 for some drink, meeting up with a group of people. I ordered a Mango bing sa...it was alright. We played this new card game, and that's how the night ended.

Day 11: Name of Your Elementary School

Simple. Good. The name is Repetto. Wow. Shortest post everr! Wait never mind. I only went to Repetto from 4th grade to 8th grade.

From 1st grade to 3rd grade, I went to a Catholic school. It's called Tak Nga Primary School. In traditional Chinese, it would be 德雅小學...

Day 10: A Silly Photo of Me

OMG Stupid Family Feud made me forget about Day 10!!! Okay. It's my fault. >_>... Also I'm not on my own computer so I don't even have the list with me... since my computer is wacked out. Anyway...a silly photo of me.. darn. I need to look for it. Hold on!!!

Okay that's what I can find for now... That's taken during an oovoo webcamming session with my friends.

Now, on to Day 11...

Day 8: Picture Of The Last Place You Visited

My Auntie's house. It looks so nice after being renovated.
We had dinner together at Sam Woo.
We were going to play Wii, but it got too late :\

Day 7: Your Favorite Food

This is the hardest one so far. I love food in general, at least almost all of them. Wow. Tough.
I'm going to go ahead with SUSHI! And I mean the good ones, not the ones you see at Costco or 7-eleven or Ralphs (if they have it). I'm talking about the ones you see in nice Japanese restaurants.

SUSHI. Once again.

I had a hard time choosing...between Korean Barbeque (KBBQ), Tepanyaki, and Shabu Shabu...

Day 6: Your Favorite Quote

I just thought of this at the top of my head right now..

"NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE." or "ANYTHING is POSSIBLE."

Though I always say "omg..that's impossible!" (I really don't mean it.)

As long as one has the will to accomplish a goal, one will do whatever it takes to prove oneself. Thus, nothing is impossible.

Day 5: Ideal Future Career

Ideal? Well, if I have all the money I want already.... I'd like to own an ice cream company ;)
Then, I can have all the ice cream I want. This is without all those stupid complications that come along with it.

OR

Own a private dessert restaurant that offers hundreds of different kinds of desserts that range from Japanese dessert to French dessert. The menu would be reasonably priced. When I come around, I can always taste the desserts to see if they're up to standard. I would love to see the happy faces of the people that are eating my desserts.

Okay snap back to reality...
I have to make money and help people at the same time.. pharmacists are in demand. la la la.

Day 4: A Song You Want Played At Your Wedding

This is hard, because most of the songs I like are sad songs like breakups/rejections/etc.
Let's see...if I really have to pick one, it would be...........................

G-Dragon - Butterfly [ft. Jin Jung]
Such a calm & pretty song..
"Every time... I come close to you"
"Look into my eyes – you see my eyes, see my lips, you listen to my heart (listen)"

Must finish my timeline and 4pg paper!!
